The key component representing performance and reliability for most automated fluidic instruments is the syringe. For over 30 years, Kloehn Inc. has been designing and manufacturing syringes for all types of instruments and analyzers. This effort has earned Kloehn Inc. the reputation as the leading supplier of long lasting syringes for clinical, medical and analytical instrument applications. Starting with the proprietary process used for manufacturing and polishing
glass and concluding with the special designs and materials used for the plunger seals, Kloehn Inc. syringes will typically far exceed the life expectancy of competitive products. All of these advantages,
and competitive pricing, make Kloehn Inc. syringes the value choice for both OEM customers and their users.

Over the years, Kloehn Inc. has developed virtually hundreds of syringes to meet the needs of our
OEM partners. From 1ul to 50ml, liquid, gas tight, and displacement, Kloehn Inc. engineers meet the
challenge of providing the perfect syringe solution for our customers' application.

The quality of the syringe barrel will ultimately determine the overall performance and life of the syringe. From our beginning, Kloehn Inc. has optimized the process of making the smoothest glass barrels in the industry. Having a superior internal surface finish, Kloehn Inc. syringes can be expected to outlast other brands in most applications.

Most OEM syringe applications require special attention to the design of the end cap and plunger button. We have designed virtually every conceivable end cap and button for matching our products to our customers' application specific instrument. Our history of designing with different end cap materials and plunger button configurations enables our clients to have more flexibility in choosing a fluidic path that works best for their requirements.

Kloehn Inc.'s syringe technology includes gas tight seal syringes, liquid seal and positive displacement syringes. While the majority of our syringes are manufactured with glass barrels, we also make custom syringes from other materials such as acrylic, ceramic, PEEK and stainless steel. Our engineers will work with you to develop the product that best meets your needs.

In both the gas tight and liquid tight syringe, the volume metered is a function of the glass barrel bore. With our proprietary process, Kloehn Inc. controls the bore to the strictest tolerances. We also offer a variety of positive displacement syringes where the volume metered is a function of the plunger rod diameter.

By forming a partnership with our customers and working together with their application needs, Kloehn Inc. can consistently develop and manufacture syringe assemblies that will easily last for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Let us make a "long lasting" impression on your instrumentation!
